The Most Incredible and Comprehensive Video Marketing Article You Will Ever Read

During my morning routine at the gym I had an idea about video marketing. I seem to get my best ideas when I am actively doing something besides work. It’s kind of weird.

If you are like me… you tend to start lifting weights or exercising and then the next thing you know you’re off in space thinking about business.

It’s a curse… 🙂

A good curse that can bring you guys a lot of value.

So I was on some back-lifting machine when it hit me:

“Why don’t you create a guide on the whole video marketing system, so they can see how it all works together?”

Genius!

I have yet to create an article or webinar that covers the whole video marketing system.

Sure, I’ve covered parts of the system – but I have yet to show you how it all comes together.

The whole system is what gets the best results and I am about to show how it all works together.

But first let’s talk numbers.

“Does video marketing really work?”

Yes!

Here are some case studies:

Rick Case Honda launched a simple YouTube TrueView campaign encouraging people to trade in their vehicles.

After launching the ads, the dealership doubled their number of trade-ins and increased their website traffic by 18%. They found that video advertising converted 4x as much as other advertising avenues.

The best number of all… They got a 12x return on their investment.

https://www.thinkwithgoogle.com/case-studies/rick-case-honda-carmercial-case-study.html

That is not bad for a car dealership.

My company, Ydraw, has received over 1000 qualified leads from video marketing ads. That doesn’t even count all of the calls I get from people searching for explainer videos on YouTube and my ads pop up in front of my competitor’s videos.

Here are a couple of screenshots:

Keywords in-display video ads:

Placement video ads:

These numbers are amazing and you can see what some of my conversions are costing me. I would be happy to explain these numbers to you, if you would like to set up a free consultation just click here.

If you’re on the fence about video ads, I recommend that you get in touch with my team. We can tell right away if you have a product or service that will work great with video ads.

I believe every company needs some type of video marketing campaign, but I also know that video ads do not work for everyone.

Let’s jump in. We are going to cover the following:

1. It all starts with a video
2. Place the video on your home page
3. Create a YouTube channel then post, rank, and optimize the video
4. Place annotations and YouTube cards on your video
5. Run YouTube video ads
6. Cookie people who watch your video
7. Upload the video to Facebook and run Facebook ads
8. Share your video everywhere

It all starts with a video.

Have you ever heard of Dr. James McQuivey?

Me neither, but everyone in the video world keeps quoting the guy. And since he has “Dr.” in front of his name we will use his study to build our case.

The Doc says, “The value of one minute of video is equal to 1.8 million words.”

That is a lot (a lot of BS, that is). Sorry, most stats are made up and this one is no exception.

You, my reader, are smarter than the average Dr. but at the same time I hope you see that a one minute video can say a lot more than 150 words of text.

Yes I know it doesn’t equal 1.8 million words, but it is somewhere in the ballpark.

Either way, video is better, and needs to be placed on your home page, social media, video ads, and email campaigns.

The video you create needs to be customized to speak to your audience. Unless you’re a huge organization that everyone knows, your video has to use more of a direct sales approach for it to be effective.

Meaning…

You consider where your audience is in the buying cycle and design accordingly. Here’s one of the better quotes/ideas I have heard about this subject.

It came from Russell Brunson who was quoting Gene Schwartz.

“If your prospect is aware of your product and has realized it can satisfy his desire, your headline starts with the product. If he is not aware of your product, but only of the desire itself, your headline starts with the desire. If he is not yet aware of what he really seeks, but is concerned with the general problem, your headline starts with the problem and crystallizes it into a specific need.”

The Story

We all relate to stories and if you are looking to convince someone to buy your product or service, a story is where you should begin.

Here is a great example:

I love speaking at conferences, because I get the chance to help other business owners. I have found that whenever I share my story about how I started my first company, was a multiple millionaire within a couple of years, and broke just a few years later, I get a lot better result. (Obviously there’s a lot more that goes into it than that, but we’re summarizing.)

By sharing my ups and downs the audience relates more and is willing to listen to what I have to say.

Video is the same.

Use experiences, stories, and testimonials that others can relate to. Big corporations have a tendency to become too robotic and start talking facts. Stop with the crazy facts and features and start with a story; your message will stay with the audience longer.

Entertain first, educate second.

Your video can’t be boring!

Over the last 8 weeks we have been working on a big project. It is actually one of the biggest projects we have done so far.

Curtis did an amazing job on selling the vision to this company. It was exciting and we were going to create a masterpiece.

It started out great, but because of bureaucracy, boring executives playing it safe, and lame suggestions by people who have no idea… the video has gone from great to junk.

Instead of creating a masterpiece, the client has become concerned with not offending anyone. They’ve forgotten the simple rule of polarity.

I can’t tell you how much it hurts to say this, because Ydraw hates creating junk.

This is one of the reasons that so few videos get shared or passed around. We have to first entertain and then educate.

So when you design your video, if you want to get any traction at all, you take risks.

Please trust me on this one.

Polarity works. Stop trying to make everyone happy.

Moving on…

If you’re really nervous about creating video ads, let Ydraw do it, they can help you get the job done.

If you are on a very tight budget you can check out some of the resources that Google provides here. It’s kind of cool!

Once your video is done, you’re going to put it to work. The rest of this article is going to discuss the different ways to get your video pushed out.

1. Place it on your home page

Self-explanatory.

2. Create a YouTube channel. Post, rank, and optimize the video

Treat your YouTube Channel like an extension of your website. Take a quick look at a couple of this channel.

Great Example of a YouTube Channel

You will see that they are totally decked out and have the following:

Icon photo
Cover photo
Social media links
Website link

Your cover photo should have some type of benefit, message, or call to action.

What you’re not seeing is that this YouTube channel is also connected to Google Analytics and their website. That way, they are able to direct traffic from their videos to their website.

I’ve created some articles and videos on how you can do all of this in about 30 minutes. Here are the links:

4. Place annotations and YouTube cards on your videos

This can make or break your campaign. When a video is uploaded, your first step should be to add YouTube cards and annotations.

It is so simple

Step 1: Click on “edit” or “video”
Step 2: Create some annotations (calls to action)
Step 3: Create YouTube card

Youtube-Cards-How-to-create-them

Youtube-annotations-and-YouTube-Cards

5. Run YouTube video ads

There are two different kinds of YouTube ads: skippable ads and non-skippable ads. I am sure you have all seen both types. I tend to play in the skippable space.

If people do not want to watch my ad, I want them to skip it as soon as possible–that way I don’t get charged.

With YouTube, the viewer has to watch the video to the end or out to 30 seconds before you get charged.

**Note: this is the reason that I tell people to create a video that’s more than 30 seconds.**

Here is a screenshot of the different types of ads you are able to run:

in-display video ad number 2 example

in-display video ads

I will use both in-stream ads and in-display ads.

I will use the in-stream ads when I’m looking for specific placements and I will use in-display ads for keywords.

I like to keep them separated.

Watch this simple video to see how I set up in-stream ads to run on my competitor’s videos, it will give you a visual to see how it is done:

When you create in-display ads you’re going to get a different look:

in-display video ads

Make sure you use the right type of headlines and call to action, this is where your copywriting skills come into play.

Here’s an example of a video ad that I created, and below that, you’ll find another one. Notice how the bottom one uses a customized image that has text. (great idea)

Indisplay video ad

in-display video ad number 2 example

If you are still a little bit lost on how to create YouTube ads, I suggest watching a couple more of our YouTube videos and reading our YouTube marketing guides.

6. Cookie (build lists of) the people who watch your videos and run video ads to them.

Did you know that you could create retargeting lists to people who have watched your videos?

You can!

Video retargeting or retargeting in general is awesome and I love it. We spend 1000’s on remarketing ads and they can have an amazing ROI.

“We’ve found that conversion rates actually increase the more users see an ad within remarketing campaigns. It’s true that click-through rates decline over time, but those people who do click on your ad, after having seen it a few times already, become twice as likely to convert!

Understand that people are busy and have other stuff going on in their life. Remarketing gives people a gentle reminder to finish what they started on your site, while reinforcing your branding and messaging to that user every time they see you around. They’re getting to know you, and learning to trust you, and when they finally do have a free moment, they are increasingly likely to do business with you.”

-Larry Kim

But, it does not stop there. You have multiple combinations of retargeting that I am going to show you in another blog. It is going to be called “Advanced Video Remarketing.” Keep an eye out for it.
Here is how it works:

Let’s assume someone searched for your product or service.

You show up in the search results and they click on your ad or web page. You’re then able to run video ads on YouTube for a couple of cents.

I was about to write this all down when I realized it is going to be easier if I just show you…

So here’s a simple video on how to set up remarketing lists on YouTube:

7. Upload your video to Facebook and run video ads

If you’re looking for a way to get $.01 views, Facebook is a great avenue. Although they are not nearly as effective as YouTube, I am constantly running and testing Facebook video ads.

Facebook Video Views Image

8. Share your video

A video needs to be shared. Here’s your list:

Google plus
Facebook
Twitter
Slideshare
LinkedIn
Instagram
Pinterest
Blog
Email list

Why You Need A Link Building Strategy – Search Engine Optimization

Link Building is a difficult task and can be costly if you do not do it right. You have to develop a link building strategy if you want to compete in your industry. This video is going to show you a couple of things we have done with our Back Linking Strategy. You will be able to see our results which can be duplicated.

Linking Building Strategy Video

Below you will found our Video Transcript for those of you who love to read.

[Beginning of recorded material]

Jace: Hey guys, Jace over here, at Yinc Marketing. I think I do about the same introduction every time, but… So, here we go. Today I want to talk about link building. So, well I’m going to start SEO first and then we’ll go into link building. Link building is a big, big piece of a good SEO market. I wish it wasn’t. As you guys all know that back in the day you could buy links. It was a big thing to just buy as many links as you could, because Google puts so much precedents on link building, which is terrible, but it is what it is. So, what they did was they pushed link building, they pushed link building, then they came out and penalized everyone who did link building, but now that is still part of their rankings. So, if you have a good SEO campaign, you’re going to have to do some link building, and there is some stuff you can do. They call it ‘white hat’. There are black hat techniques which are wrong, but for now white hat are working, but that doesn’t mean that in the future Google can’t come out and say ‘Hey, we changed our mind. That doesn’t work. Sorry, we’re going to penalize you. So, just be really careful with link building, but I want to go into it. If you don’t know what links are, basically you have to go to a website. So, I’ll jump over to, I will just jump over, and go over to ydraw.com. So, from on here on the blog. A link is, if somebody links out, so right here changing your insurance… Basically that went out to this, so guideswallstreetjournal.com. They have a link out from us, and I probably need to talk to my SEO guy about that, which is fine. So, here’s one fallout from your former employee. So, here is a father in law, let’s see where that goes. Why join the family? So, he must have discussed this. So now what happens is careeraddict.com has a link from Ydraw. So, here is Ydraw linked to careerbuilding.com. So, that’s considered a backlink. So, that’s a vote for Career Addict. So, this link right here is a good vote for Career Addict. Now, if you go outside of this, and you have links that are coming back, like if you go to marketinghy.com you’re going to see down here at the bottom of the page, I have our other companies. Here is Ydraw, White board Animation Company. You click on that, you’re going to go over to Ydraw. So, here is a link back to Ydraw. That is considered a backlink. Now, Google wants two things. They want great content, they want backlinks. If you can get a lot of great backlinks on any site, on good high-quality sites, then your rank, you’re going to rank better.
So, I want to show you what I’ve done with Yinc Marketing. We do this for all of our clients. Whenever we bring a new marketing client, we go out and make this part of their SEO. Now, some of you need to understand Search Engine Optimization, or SEO takes time. It’s not something that you can do immediately and you can be on page 1. It takes time, it takes content, it takes strategy. So, don’t expect fast results for stuff like this. Now, when I started Yinc Marketing I wanted to go after a few keywords: video marketing obviously, video marketing services, marketing company in Utah, video marketing in Utah. You can see here are some of the campaigns that I’ve created to go out and get backlinks, so let me show you the results.
So, I’m going to bring this up. So, first off, I created a blog how to reach the right audience with YouTube video ads. So, I went out there and created a blog and that’s going to be your first step. You need to create amazing content. Now, I like to go out there and put 2000-3000 word articles on your blog. It needs to be well written and then what you do is make sure that it’s in the title. Let’s g to this, so I can show you a few things.
So, here it is. So, this is the article. Is not as long as I like it to be, but it talks about YouTube ads, obviously how to target the right audience. I have an image here getting the right audience with YouTube ads, then an image here. You can see I label all my images if in the audience. So, then I give a lot of material, and then I do a Slide Share people can watch, with some links. And, that’s it. Let me see. Here is a link out from Google, so there is a backlink there. That’s not really a backlink, that’s just a link out; a backlink would be coming back. So, if you take this one ‘How to reach the right audience’ that is something that I created. Then what I did was went out there and said ‘Okay, I need some backlinks. I’m going to go after a few keywords. I’m going to link them back to this article. Once you do that, and we do a lot of other things I’m not really going to go into right now, but we can do it for you’re interested in. We’ll discuss a little later. You can see, ‘Reach the right audience with YouTube.’ There is my position. There is 21.1 million search engine results. My position is number 2 behind real SEO. Real SEO is a huge new site for video marketing. They’re big. They’re the biggest one in our space, and then I’m right below. So you can look into that how directly that affected my rankings, for that particular article. Now next, I did another URL in our link building strategy, just my homepage URL video marketing. With that, you can see if you type in video marketing are moving up on the third one down on video marketing. I’m targeting these keywords: YouTube ads, YouTube video marketing, video marketing strategy, and I’ll show you that one in a second. I you look at this keyword ‘YouTube marketing company’ and see we got our video ranked. That’s from our YouTube channel, and then two down below that you have our homepage. There is a few other ones, let’s try this. ‘Video marketing Utah’, obviously you have a lot of videos. I need to go after that, but you see we’re second page, second one down. That’s just because there are so many videos right here. I need to grab a video and actually rank up for that keyword. I will make a note. So, ‘Video marketing Utah Company’. What other keywords that I want to go after? So, create ads on YouTube.
I want to do that for that article ‘Creepy marketing campaign’. So, I went out and create another big blog, talked about stalking people using video ads, and I just labelled it Creepy video marketing campaign. If you jump over here, not that one, take that one off. So, ‘Creepy marketing campaign’. I have my image, this is my image. This is my image here, and I am right here. So, fifth one down for that article. So once the articles were in, then we turn around and we do our whole linking campaign. There is a lot that goes into it. I’m not going to jump into it with you guys here, just know that we do have that service. What we’ll do is go out there, take the article; we’ll take the keyword you want. We will then find you; we will track down places where we can put a link back to your website. And it just ranks. So, it doesn’t take too long. I will usually create an article, go through our whole system, do all the backlinking and a lot of times within three or four weeks I’m ranking on the first page, a lot of times on the number 1 spot.
So, that is a strategy you guys have to use. Now, here is our offer. If you guys don’t know how to get backlinks you can do test guest blogging, you can go out there and seek them individually and just kind of exchange links. They don’t be going out there buying a bunch of links; you need to actually create the links. If you’re buying links you can get in trouble. So, it’s very tedious manual labour. We do have offers, whatever you like: ‘Hey I got a great article that I want to rank for these certain keywords.’ All you do is just let us know. We will then do our whole linking scheme behind it, where we will go out there and find links that we can trade, or whatever we need to do. That way it’ll rank your website. Normal service, I’d say an average person pays about $600 to do that. It’s not cheap. See if you think about it, with a lot of my companies we do a spend of $1,500 a month. That’s after creating the content. I’ll spend $1,500 a month on getting our links, just from our tie, from guest blogging, form everything. So, I created about $1,500 a month just for my company. That doesn’t include our other companies that we help rank.
Got it? So, please make SEO part of your online marketing strategy. I don’t really discuss a lot about SEO, just because it is a long-term play. I do it for my businesses. A lot of people don’t have the patience, nor do they have the skills to do it right. So, my suggestion is if you find a great service, which I hope you’ll use ours, use it. They know what they’re doing. They’ll get you backlinks. If you’re going to try to go out there by yourself, you need a dedicated time. So, whatever you lack in money, you need to spend the time if you really want your SEO strategy to work. So, there it is simple video on backlinking.
If you need to contact me my e-mail is jace@marketinghy.com . Go visit us on ydraw.com, or marketinghy.com, if you want to see some of our services. And we will chat with you later.
Bye.

You Hired The Wrong SEO Company Now What?

If you are reading this article it is likely that you have hired the wrong SEO marketing agency or you are getting that feeling that something is a little off with your marketing agency.

Don’t be too hard on yourself, because the odds of picking the right agency is about 1 in 10. The odds are not in your favor. Here is a simple Webinar where we discuss what to watch out for.

A Robot Translated this so ignore any errors.

[Start of video] [Beginning of recorded material]

You Hired The Wrong SEO Company. Now What Do You Do?

Jace:  Hey guys. This is Jace over here at Yinc marketing, bringing another podcast video, so what we’re calling them. So, today we’re going to be talking about how to protect yourself from hiring the wrong online marketing company. And I wrote this article, you’ll see on August 12th.
Also Neil Patel, for those of you guys who don’t know him, he came out with a great article we’re going to go over a little bit of that today. Right here, Don’t get fooled: 17 questions to ask before hiring an SEO Company. So, how this came about was a couple of weeks ago I had a friend give me a ring. He runs a pretty big company and he wanted me to look into his business and see what was going on. I get these types of calls all the time and 50% of the time the SEO company is ripping off their customer.

The other 50% of the time the SEO company or online marketing company is really trying hard to make things work. They just need a little help or a couple of ideas to help.

I asked him a few questions.

He had a feeling they were getting ripped off, they weren’t getting their value for what they were paying. So, I went up there to discuss what this company was doing for them. Well, They didn’t have an e-mail campaign, they didn’t have a good SEO, they didn’t have a content strategy, just zero.

And this happens more often than not. So I came back and kind a created an article talking about that. Then Neil came out with this one. So we’re going to run through it, and hope this helps you guys hire the right company. So first of I got Wes here. Say hi, Wes.

Wes:   What’s up guys?

Jace:  So Wes here. Wes, can I, say that again. Say what’s up.

Wes:   What’s up guys?

Jace:  Okay, I can hear. It wasn’t on my ears. Okay, so I’m going to hit the odds. Wes is going to hit the evens. If you have any questions you will have to send us an e-mail. Okay, so first of how would you improve your online search rankings. So what Neil is saying is here ‘Ask these questions.’

So the very first question is ‘How are you going to improve my rankings?’

You should always ask that. They better have a plan. So number one if any company comes to you make sure they have a plan in place of how they plan to improve your rankings. It’s not just hey it’s going to happen.

Wes:   Okay 2.How you make me informed of changes you make to our website? This is just a key of any communication too. There is obviously a technical site of SEO so they are going to go in, maybe change some sitemaps, adjust some coding to make sure you’re getting basically read by Google easier, and just make sure you’re informed on that, so you don’t run on any other issues with other functions on your site.

Jace:  Okay, that’s a problem I see everywhere too. A lot of companies do not have good on-page SEO. So, a lot of times when we go into a company to help them out with their online marketing, very first thing we’re going to do is fix their website, fix all the problems they have get him indexed.

Okay, so 3. Past clients

Obviously whenever you’re going to hire somebody ask about their past clients, maybe call one or two of their past clients. So make sure they were doing what they told. Now, Neil, General Motors into it. With Ydraw we work with your fourth Oracle Procter & Gamble, all those big companies. But we don’t hand them out as references due to the fact they are busy, but we’re more than opened to give people any numbers and say ‘Hey, here is a client call him, talk to him, see what we’ll do. So, don’t be afraid to ask that question.

Wes:   4. Do you always follow Google’s best practises?

Now this is an interesting one, because we’ve had site in the past where we’ve had competition, basically buy bad backlinks for our site to hurt our ranking and Google. And so it took us a lot of time to go in and disavow those bad links. Basically I bring that up because there is a way to hurt your site if someone is buying bad links for it. And this is not, it isn’t unusual for us to see SEO companies going and do that. This is obviously your cheaper guys, or your little bit shady guys that will just go in and try and buy backlinks to get your rank up, rather than doing it the right way.

Jace:  And it’s very common even on big companies, it’s just the pressure to perform an SEO is pretty big. So they’ll fall into that problem.

  1. Which tools do you use?

I like to use what Google provides. Some companies have customized tools. I don’t think that’s necessary. If you’re like, whenever you hire an SEO Company they should give you access to your analytics, webmaster tools. If it’s a Word Press there’s analytics there. So you should be logging in and you should be able to see exactly what’s happening, as far as traffic do well. And I kind a recommend you to do that often.

Wes: 6.What types of SEO work will you do?

Now, Neil Patel adds least three of the technical off-page and on-page. The technical I mentioned earlier, that’s going in changing some coding, making sure Google can crawl your content. Off-page- that is your inbound links. And what we’re seeing recently is Google is a lot more concerned about social links and social shares. So something to be aware of and then to unpage it your content. Your SEO Companies should be creating content if you want to have success.

Jace:  Okay, 7.This is a big one. If any company guarantees you #1 rank, go the other way. They can’t. They cannot guarantee that they are going to rank you on page one. Okay, it’s not hard to do on certain keywords. Yeah, they might get you on a crappy keyword, but the reality is SEO takes a lot of time. So, if they say they guarantee anything, you know you’re dealing with the shady internet marketing company. You’re up Wes.

Wes:   Alright. 9. Payment structure, or did I skipped one?

Jace:  8, you’re 8. How often will you report…?

Wes: 8.So, how often will you report on your work, and what will it look like?

This should be happening at least once a month. If you’re a company that needs a more often, make sure that you’ll find an SEO Company that will work with you and report weekly.

Jace:  Yeah, weekly’s not a problem. Now, if you want them to report more, you’re wasting their time.

  1. Good payment structure.

Okay, this is actually pretty important. If a company comes to you and they say ‘Hey, we have a great service that offers $250 a month’, you know you’re getting scammed. Okay, nobody is going to work for $250 a month. So, that’s one of the things, I see that often. There are so many companies out there, and you guys have probably got phone calls from a lot of them that say ‘Hey we’re willing to do your SEO for $250.’ It doesn’t work that way. You are not going to get the result and the opportunity cost is going to be huge. Like I mentioned at the beginning, that company we went and visited, yeah, they were spending a huge amount of money, but what was the worst was opportunity cost, of not getting it done correctly. Same thing, if you’re going to pay $200 a month, you might as well keep the money, because you are not going to get a good job. So, what should you expect to pay $100- $200 an hour, or what we have. We have a lot of companies that sign up. They get a full time employee that works solely on their business 40 hours a week. We charge anywhere from $5500, not for that. We also have packages like $1500, but anything lower we don’t mess with.

Wes:   10. How will we contact you?

So, this one just come to expectations. How do you want to be contacted? Do you want a phone call every month, a week? Are you an e-mail guy? What’s the best way to contact you? The only issue we’ve seen with this in the past is we’ll take on a client and then they’re impossible to get a hold of, and it just slows down having success. So if you’re going to hire company, commit to it, make sure you’re available, and then see the revenue boost.

Jace:  11. How will you work tie to other marketing efforts?

Obviously, if they are doing your in online SEO, they need to be tightened everything else, they need to know what’s going on. So, self explanatory on that one. And they need to be aware of your branding. So, just make sure they understand kind of the message you want to put out there.

Wes:   12. What happen if we terminate the contract?

Just know this upfront, make sure you have a conversation about that. The key thing here though is when you do sign up for an SEO service, understand this is a long-term play. This is something that takes time to have success with. You’re not going to see results probably the first couple of months. But, as Google crawls your site, says you’re creating more content and getting more links, that’s when you start to boost. Plan on this six months on a year. That’s a good time for him to look at.

Jace:  13.If you worked with penalized sites…

Okay, this came into play a couple of years ago when Google came out with an add algorithm, deindex a lot of pages, because of bad backlinking. So you may want to ask them have they worked with penalized sites. If they worked with a lot of penalized sites, it’s probably because they’re doing some bad stuff. So, this, I don’t know if this is relevant question. Who cares? If they haven’t worked with penalized sites doesn’t really matter. Do they need to know? Well the only thing you can do is go in and disavow them. So, and then get better backlinks.

Wes:   14. Are you up to date with the latest algorithm changes?

This is important. Obviously, Google’s changing things pretty consistently, but you never really know what the exact algorithm changes are. So, people can guess and say what they’re seeing, but the only two clear ones we’ve seen lately is make sure your site’s mobile friendly and get more social shares.

Jace:  15.How your team adapt to your strategy to my industry?

Obviously, they need to know about your industry. Common- sense. Next. Sorry that’s my phone.

Wes:   16. How do you determine if you’re successful?

Now, there is a couple of ways to look at this. Some companies care about links and what kind of traffic you’re seeing. With Yinc we’re more concerned with revenue. So, if you’re revenue isn’t boosting every month, we’re not doing something right. And so, it’s just the different mentality of what, basically what numbers were basing our success off.

Jace:  And you can rank like, a lot of people are ‘Hey I want page one.’ Well that might not add to your bottom line. So we’re really revenue ROI conscious. We don’t care really about rankings. If your ROI is going up and if there is, if you’re buying, if you’re spending money as long as you are making money. Then whether you are on page one or not doesn’t matter. But our goal is page one, it’s just more importantly is ROI.

  1. Why should you hire you over other SEO companies?

Obviously, there is a lot of good SEO companies, but most are bad case. I always call the 80-20 rule, the Pareto Principle. 80% of SEO companies are junk. 20% are going to be good. See which one fits you best. Okay, there are a lot of good ones out there. Some of them are better in certain industries than others. So, do your homework.

Wes:   And just to wrap things up for the conclusion, just a reminder, if you are outsourcing internet marketing it’s a long-term play if you’re working with the good company. To have success, marketing company has to basically infiltrate every part of your site, do upsells, you know, e-mail marketing. It takes the whole process. And so, like Jace said six months to an year to really see a lot of results happen.

Jace:  Okay, in case if you guys have questions obviously we always give a free consultation out there. So if you have questions about your business, if you have questions about our service, we focus on video, Facebook, e-mail, and PPC campaigns. Okay, so if you have questions let us know. My e-mail is jace@marketinghy.com . Wes, you can e-mail him at wesws@marketinghy.com, and we will talk to you later. See ya.

How Does A Grown Woman Become A Teenager?

Last week it happened…the best day of my 4 year old’s life. There she was singing at the top of her lungs, surrounded by 60,000 other screaming teenagers.

The funny thing was, I looked down the aisle and saw my wife and 3 year old daughter doing the exact same thing. Here was a 31 year old, standing up, belting out the lyrics as if she had shaved off 15 years. She was one of them (see the video below for proof, she’s gonna kill me).

Ok, I have to admit that there’s a bit of joy watching this. It’s something that only fathers get to experience. Was it worth the $800 dollars? You bet it was!

Here is the miracle. How is it that Harry, Louis, Niall, and Liam (One Direction) can turn full grown women into screaming teenagers? They generate millions of revenue in one night by singing songs (their product).

It makes me sick… I mean four young boys have the ability to turn a city upside down in a matter of minutes. Heck, some just open their mouths and the girls act like they are going to faint. It was marketing at its finest.

Which brings me to the point.

One Direction is able to generate a message/product and deliver it to the right target audience. In turn, they are compensated. It was amazing to see the fans and to think that happens all over the world.

We can learn from this.

Isn’t this what business is all about? We all have a special product or service that people need. Once we find the target audience and deliver them the message, they depart with their hard earned cash (if they perceive that there is value).

If only it was this simple.

The definition for “advertising” according to Webster’s is this:

Ad-ver-tis-ing
The activity or profession of producing advertisements for commercial products or services.

Here’s “marketing”:

Mar-ket-ing
The action or business of promoting and selling products or services, including market research and advertising.

What the heck is that supposed to mean? Sometimes I think Webster was on crack when he wrote his definitions.

Here is a better definition according to Jace (no, I don’t do crack).

Advertising/Marketing

The act of putting your message (about your product or service) in front of the right target audience.

It’s that simple. When you do this, you get results.

  • It’s not marketing if you do not have a message.
  • It’s not marketing if you do not have a target audience.
  • It’s not marketing if your message falls on deaf ears.
  • It’s not marketing if you do not get results.
  • It’s not marketing if you do not know what kind of value your product brings.

This is one of the reasons Ydraw and Yinc Marketing were created.

Ydraw, was set up to create the message and tell your story. We do this by creating an engaging video that gives people a reason to care.

Yinc Marketing was created to find the right target audience and put your message in front of them. We do this by using YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, email and many other avenues. We find what works and scale it up.

It’s the perfect fit and it works every time. Unless your product sucks, then we can’t help you…lol 😉

This is where 99% of businesses struggle. They haven’t crafted the right message, or they might not have their message figured out. That’s problem one. Next, they have a message but have no idea how to put it in front of their target audience. Both problems lead to disaster.

We are great at both, and we want to show you what we are doing for businesses like yours.

This week we will be doing a webinar on Message and Delivery. We want to provide huge amounts of value. We want to give you something that you can take and use immediately to better your business.

*See how to create the right message
*Find out how to deliver that message to the right audience for pennies.
*Find out what is working for your industry
*Get ideas on what you can do next to promote your product or service
*Come hang out with me. This is totally the best part…  🙂
*More great stuff

Sounds simple, right?

Don’t miss it because it might just be the thing that changes your business forever.

A webinar that will change your business forever.

Have a great day and happy singing One Direction.

You’re Not Getting Enough Video Views. Let’s Fix It!

You’re Not Getting Enough Video Views. Let’s Fix It!

You’re Not Getting Enough Views

My Friends,

It has been a couple of weeks but it has given me some time to come up with something amazing. So far Ydraw has created about 940 different types of videos.

That is 940 stories, 940 different messages, 940 calls to action. It has been an amazing ride and we hope it will continue to grow. We love our clients and hope they have huge success.

But it is not all happy tears.

NO…It’s not!

In fact, there is one problem that keeps popping up.

You’re Not getting Enough Views.

A video needs to be seen and heard before it will produce the results and this does not happen without a bit of effort. Sure, you will get an occasional viral video, but this is extremely unlikely.

How unlikely? Put it this way…

You might have a better chance of winning the lottery than becoming a big YouTube sensation. If your video gets 1000 views, you are in the top 3.1 percent. If you get 10,000 views, you will enter the domain of 0.3 percent.

Don’t let this discourage you, because video marketing is all about quality not quantity. It’s by far better to have 5 qualified viewers than a million unqualified. If getting views created customers, then I would buy a million video views from click farms in China.

How do I know this?

Let’s move on…☺

I want to show you how you can get qualified views at an extremely low cost. You have your video, now it’s time to get the customers.

Run ads on YouTube.

I have been harping on this for the last 6 months. Before long it is going to get too expensive and the ROI is not going to be there. It happened to Google Adwords and it will eventually happen to Video Ads.

Marketers tend to ruin everything. We will all jump on board and drive up the price. Just last week I saw about 5 other network marketers start pushing YouTube Ads.

It is the next big thing, so you will want to get started.

The Cost?

8 to 15 cents per view.

I have created a simple How To Guide that will teach you how to exploit this secret source for high converting laser targeted, low competitions traffic.

Plus, I have a couple screen shots to show you some results.

You can get it here. (although I said it was simple the blasted thing took me all day to create, so make sure and use it.)

How To Drive Laser Targeted Traffic To Your Videos

We also have created a Video Marketing Academy for those who want to tackle video ads on their own.

Not only do we tell your story…We help you get it out there.

If you still do not have a video, then you need to start there. Telling your story is step number one. Ydraw can help with that.
