I’m going to show you a couple of ways you can take your Explainer video and get a lot more mileage out of it.
But first, lets talk about the benefits.

4. Different marketing methods will attract different crowds
5. Diversity
I really like that last one, because you never know if something is going to happen to one of your marketing channels. You could wake up one day and find that your website has been demolished.

Once you have a promotional piece you need to get to work promoting it. 80% of your time needs to be spent prompting your video.
We have this backwards. Most companies will spend 80% on the creation part and 20% on promoting. Don’t do it.
This is what I want you to do.
1. Create a slide share.
Open up an account at slideshare.net and use your video script and images to upload a nice PowerPoint. I created this example in about 15 minutes.
2. Create a Blog
Take your script and do a Blog write up on your video. Make sure to upload the video to YouTube and use the embed code. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Just get it out there.
3. Create an Infographic or Brochure
People like to share stats and get free guides. I created this simple Infograph with http://piktochart.com/ for people to share.
It’s simple, and it is fun. I timed myself to see how quickly I could get a simple infograph created. This took be less than 5 minutes.
